This is just a lighthearted attempt to list those things about which I (or others) really don't care, but for reasons beyond my comprehension the mass media won't let die. You know what I mean... People or places or things that have reached 16 minutes of fame or jumped the shark months ago. Scandals or controversies seemingly created for the sake of selling papers. You get the idea.
I welcome anyone else's suggestions on what they'd file under the category of a "collective shrug."
